The Happy Guide Underwriter program is designed to increase the fund-raising capacity of books sales.  Happy Guide Underwriter’s cut a check and get nothing but a good warm fuzzy feeling.  The books they purchase are then sold so that 100% of the retail price of the books will be donated.
